Trades
TOTL Games is a full Buy/Sell/Trade store.
At TOTL, we strive to have some of the best offers in the area, with competitive rates, and trained employees who are thorough in checking the market value on items brought to us for trades/selling. This does mean that our trades can take time, and we can't always process a trade same day.
Please call ahead of time if you intend on trading in with us, to verify we have space and are able to do trades.
General Trade Policies
Same Day Trades
12:00PM-6:30PM
Please call ahead to confirm we are able to do a trade same day. If there is an event or we do not have enough employees on hand we may not be able to process your trade Same Day.
For specifics on what can be traded in Same Day, please scroll down to the Video Game & TCG Side Trade Policies sections.
Any trade that cannot be accepted Same Day will be considered a Drop Off Trade and will be added to our queue, space permitting.
Drop Off Trades
Drop Off Trades can be dropped off during any open business hours, assuming we have the space. Please call ahead of time as we have limited space and our trade shelves fill up fast.
Most Drop Off Trades take 1-2 weeks for us to process, depending on the size of the trade, and how busy we are.
Once we have finished processing your Drop Off Trade we will give you a call to have you come in and sign off on the trade. We make three attempts to contact you over the course of thirty days. If, by thirty days, you have not come in or made any attempt to contact us, we will process your trade as abandoned.
Abandoned trades will have store credit put onto an account with the name and phone number provided to us at the time of drop off.
We require ID for all trades, cash or credit.
Current forms of accepted ID's are:
Current, valid driver’s license, permit or Oregon ID card (Plastic Only, no Print Outs)
Out of State ID requires a second form of Identification
Current, valid passport or passport card with photo.
Tribal Membership or ID card with photo and address.
US Armed Services ID Card with photo.
Consulate Card with photo and address.
State or federal government ID badge with photo
You may only sell your own property, you cannot sell property on behalf of another individual. You cannot use someone else's ID for your trade, it has to be your ID.
If you are under 18 all trades require a parent or guardian.
We will fully cooperate with the police if the items traded in to us are reported stolen.
Video Game Side Trades
Items Accepted For Trade:

Sealed/Unbuilt Model Kits (such as Gundam, Zoids, etc.)
Video Game Strategy Guides/Artbooks
Nintendo Power Magazines
Skylanders
Same Day Trades
The best days for Same Day Trades are the weekends (Fri-Sun) but if we have a large convention or event at the OCC we may be too busy to process your trade Same Day. Please call ahead of time to confirm we are able to.
Same Day Trades are limited to:
-5 or less Video Games/Video Game Accessories and/or Unsealed Model Kits
OR
-1 Video Game Console
If the item you have is more rare or niche, please call ahead of time to confirm that a manager will be available to take a look at your item.
We will occasionally take in Video Game related merchandise or collectables, but we are very particular about what we can pay for. Anime merchandise/collectables we are far more picky with, but we will occasionally take statues/figurines/soundtracks.
DVDs & Blu-Rays we are generally interested in, but only if they are "sought after". Anime DVDs, limited releases, special editions, horror, animation or video game movies/TV is what we are usually looking for.
Please call ahead to confirm that we'd be able to take your items.
TCG Side Trades
On the TCG Side we accept Sealed Product & TCG Singles for the following card games:

Flesh and Blood
Same Day Trades:
Same Day Trades on the TCG Side are limited to:
5 Unique TCG Singles (Duplicate copies count as one card for same day trades)
OR
3 Sealed TCG Products (boxes/packs/etc.)
If an item is rarer/more niche, we may need to wait for a staff member with more expertise to be available. In this case we would likely need to process this as a Drop-Off trade even if it meets the Same Day trade item quantity.

We do not currently purchase lots of just bulk (cards below the $1 threshold) at this time, regardless of which game it is for. Occassionally we will take bulk included in a whole collection, but do not offer anything for trades consisting of just bulk. We also pass on any trades that consist of too many fake or water damaged/moldy cards.
While we do accept both foreign language and graded cards- given the slow rate at which they've historically sold, we tend to offer a lower rate on those unless they're particularly notable cards.
We will occasionally take in accessories such as playmats/deckboxes but are highly limited to what we will take in. Always call ahead of time to confirm whether or not we are interested in something, or send us an email at totldesktop@gmail.com
