Assassin's Creed: Odyssey was my first introduction to a true open world, and I was blown away by all the options available to me. I had a great time working to level up my boat, horse, and other customizations as I explored random side quests. The story is simple enough with a pleasant found family narrative, but I really enjoyed the world so much that the story fell to the wayside. If you want to ride through Ancient Greece, participate in naval battles, or encounter the occasional mythological creature, this game is for you. ~Shelby (April 2026)
