Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore is a spiritual successor to the infamous Zelda CDI games. That alone makes it an interesting novelty, but what really makes Arzette a gem is just how commited it is to the bit. "Seedy Eye Software" got some of the original voice actors from Link: The Faces of Evil and Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon as well as artists who worked on the original characters and cutscenes of those games. If you're like me and grew up in the heyday of YouTube Poops, Arzette will feel like a time capsule straight from those delightfully campy days. And what's even better is that there's an actually pretty decent platformer connecting all these cutscenes, which is more than can be said for the games that inspired it. Arzette is a must experience for anyone who has fondness for the weirdeset corners of Zelda game history or inane YouTube comedy that's persisted through decades at this point. ~Jules (April 2026)
